With so many coffee shops to choose from, it can be tough to decide where to go for your daily caffeine fix! Whether you’re looking for a cozy corner to enjoy your favorite latte or perhaps an inspiring atmosphere to work on your laptop, there’s certainly no shortage of coffee shops in the area. That's why I’ve narrowed it down for you and put together a list of some of my absolute favorite coffee shops in Milton, Alpharetta, and Roswell.
Valor Coffee (Alpharetta) Valor Coffee is a popular coffee shop located in Downtown Alpharetta. The shop is known for its delicious coffee, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. “Valor Coffee” takes its name from the latin word “valor” which means courage and strength. The shop’s mission is to empower and inspire its customers to live boldly and pursue their passions. This theme is reflected in the shop’s decor which features inspiring quotes and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The coffee is sourced from high quality roasters and prepared with care by skilled baristas. Enjoy drinks including espresso, pour over coffee, cold brew, and iced coffee. In addition to downtown Alpharetta, you can visit a Valor Coffee at the Halcyon and in Roswell.
The Nest Cafe (Alpharetta/Milton) The Nest Cafe is a trendy coffee shop with 2 convenient locations in Crabapple Milton and Downtown Alpharetta. The shop serves coffee from local roasters and also offers a selection of pastries and breakfast items. The interior of the cafe is decorated with a mix of vintage and modern decor giving it a fun and unique atmosphere.
Warm Waves Coffee House (Alpharetta) Warm Waves is a charming coffee shop in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta. The shop is known for its warm welcoming atmosphere and delicious coffee and baked goods. The shop’s interior features a calming vibe with rustic decor, comfy chairs, and a cozy fireplace. Enjoy a variety of coffee drinks made from high quality espresso beans including cappuccinos, lattes, cold brew, and much more. The outdoor seating area is a huge plus and is perfect for enjoying your coffee outside on a beautiful day. Another perk of Warm Waves is the many events they host, including poetry readings, art exhibits, and live music.
Fuel Coffee (Alpharetta) Fuel Coffee is known for its delicious coffee beans which are roasted in small batches to ensure maximum freshness and flavor. Along with their extensive coffee list they also have a selection of teas, smoothies, and pastries. The interior is a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers to relax and enjoy their coffee. One thing I love about Fuel Coffee is their commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. They use compostable cups and offer a discount to customers who bring their own reusable cups.
Boarding Pass Coffee (Milton) Boarding Pass Coffee is a family owned business located on Highway 9 near the fire department and Mazzy’s Tavern. The shop is cozy and comfortable and decked out in aviation-themed decor including a vintage airplane propeller. Enjoy your coffee while sitting in an old airplane seat or out on the front stoop. Their delicious beans arrive direct from the family farm in Brazil, talk about farm-to-cup! Boarding Pass Coffee is also known to make appearances at many of the local farmer’s markets, so If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to!
Pops Coffee Co (Roswell)Pop’s is a popular and well-regarded coffee shop in Roswell. Their crafted selection of drinks and baked goods provides the perfect way to keep your engine purring – morning, noon and night. It all started when they opened “Pop’s Garage” in 2013, building unique custom bikes and some really great friendships along the way. To expand, they created a place that would invite even more neighbors to stop in. In addition to serving coffee, they regularly host various events throughout the year, such as live music performances and art shows. Simply puts, Pop’s is a place to hang out with great people and enjoy delicious coffee.
