Summer Camp sign-ups always find a way to sneak up on us! This year, let us help you get organized without all the hassle! Whether you’ve got an athlete, artist ,or future chef, there’s a camp to please everyone. Check out our extensive guide below of our favorite summer camps in North Atlanta:
ART
- AR Workshop (Milton): This one is for the crafty camper! Your child will enjoy hands-on crafting for projects such as tote bags, canvas, string art, tie dye and more! Morning and afternoon options available.
- Art Barn (Milton/Canton): The perfect camp for children ages 5-12. Campers will help with various farm chores such as gathering farm fresh eggs, feeding, and brushing the animals. Each day features different animals as inspiration for the art projects. Camps held June-July.
TECHNOLOGY & EDUCATION
- Code Ninjas (Milton): Your tech savvy kids can enjoy programs such as coding video games, cartoons, and how to become a YouTuber! Morning and afternoon options available.
- Flour Power, Cooking Studio (Alpharetta): A great camp for your budding chef ages 5-12! Flexible half and full day options available.
SPORTS
- Skyzone Skycamp (Roswell): SkyCamp activities include open trampoline jumping, Dodgeball, age-appropriate fitness, games, activities and crafts. **Summer 2023 dates coming soon!
- Mind Body Sports (Alpharetta- At the Fulton Science Academy & other locations): Your active child will enjoy a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, flag football, volleyball, karate, dance, and tumbling combined with educational activities such as science experiments, lego building, crafts, and more!
- All Around Gymnastics (Johns Creek): Your little gymnast will love getting trained on all four Olympic events: vault, bars, beam and floor! Campers will also spend time on the trampoline and of course the "PIT"! Camp is held Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-3pm.
- Rush Soccer (Milton): Soccer stars can perfect their game at camp by focusing on foot-skills, passing, receiving, tackling, shooting and combination play. Players will be grouped according to age and skill level. Offered week of June 12, July 10, or July 24, from 9:00 to 12:00pm.
OUTDOORS & NATURE
- Camp Kingfisher (Roswell- at the Chattahoochee Nature Center): Includes traditional camp programs such as hiking, canoeing, and swimming combined with activities and themes to encourage personal growth and teamwork. Camps are held May 30 – August 3.
- Camp Arrowhead (Milton): A high energy, faith based-camp mixed with fun and adventure. It includes the highest and longest zip line in the area!
ANIMALS
- Equestrian Reserve (Alpharetta): Equestrian camp for ages 5-15 with options based on skill level and preference whether you're a beginner or advanced shower!
- MUSIC/THE ARTS
- Bach to Rock (Alpharetta): Enjoy a variety of camps geared towards rock band, glee club, beat making, recording, and more! Flexible dates and times throughout the summer.
- Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts (Cumming): Camp and productions for ages 5-12, as well as, Teen Production for ages 13-18. Includes theatrical productions such as Shrek, Finding Nemo, and Disney Dreams
